What are the different options for players to be involved with Metro United DA?

  1. FT DA Player
    1. Train 4x/ week
    2. Play DA Matches/ Events only
    3. 18 player maximum per age group
  2. PT DA Player (from start of year)
    1. Train 1 to 4 times per week with DA teams
    2. May play in up to 12 DA Matches/ Events
    3. May transition to FT player during the year
      1. If developmentally appropriate for player
      2. All FT player restrictions apply after this point
    4. May play in outside competition
      1. tournaments, league matches with partner clubs
    5. For players who may not earn significant minutes in DA matches and provide opportunity for additional match minutes
      1. Will register and play league and tournament matches with partner club
  3. Training Player
    1. Train 1-2x/ week with DA teams
    2. May transition to a PT player at any point in the year
      1. Dependent  on need from DA rosters and what is developmentally appropriate for player
    3. Train 2-3x/ week with partner club
    4. Play league and tournament matches with partner club
    5. May play in outside competition
      1. tournaments, League matches with partner clubs
  4. Auxiliary Programs
    1. Metro United will work with our Partner clubs to develop and run auxiliary programs based on the needs/ desires of each Partner’s membership
      1. EX: Futsal, Strikers clinic, Pass-Masters clinic, 1v1 and small group defending, 1v1 and small group attacking, GK clinics, etc.
